about

What we talk about when we talk about love? For example, soapy mud in the trailerpark and the way they get to work: NiK, Janic, Valentin — and Brother Salomon, his ears anticipating. A practice room on wheels, jacked up and sunken into the ground a bit.
A fire dancing inside the stolen oven, mouthpiece melting, shattered guitar neck crackling. The plastic cymbal of your first drum kit dripping into the embers. Barefoot on this earth and believing in jazz, as long as itʼs loud enough, as long as itʼs fast enough to lure the devil into a little trading transaction. Calling to shamans and demons, until the stoned trailer park catʼs eardrums explode. And suddenly itʼs quiet — take care, you improbably glowing little hippie. BlauBlau Records, Autumn 2021
